Methodology
U.S. Gulf Coast kerosene-type jet fuel spot price, free on board (FOB), in dollars per gallon (EIA series EER_EPJK_PF4_RGC_DPG). EIA compiles its spot prices from market price reporters. Prices are for trading days only; weekends and market holidays have no value and are left blank, never filled. EIA publishes the series with a lag of a few days and may revise recent days. The figures are nominal US dollars, not adjusted for inflation. CK Economics keeps the series from January 2000; EIA's table goes further back for some prices.
